Come and join us as we launch 'Burnie Creatives' - a colourful coffee table book featuring profiles of 300 artists representing Burnie's creative community.'Burnie Creatives' originated as a 145-person 'Arts Wall of Fame' at Burnie Arts Council's 75th Birthday Celebrations in October, 2023.
Since its much-admired beginnings, the book has had two years in development. The number of artists has doubled,1000's of stories and images have been shared and selected, and Burnie Arts Council's unique history has been added.
'Burnie Creatives' is now ready to be launched... and a new chapter (and name) for Burnie Arts Council begins!
We are excited to launch 'Burnie Creatives' at the newly refurbished Burnie Arts.
The publication and launch event have been generously supported by the Burnie City Council.
