Casa Brazil! Self-Doll making workshop
About
Inspired by Afro-Brazilian traditions, Self-Doll making is a reflective practice blending creativity, meditation, and cultural heritage. Originally shared across communities in Brazil, doll-making became a tool for identity, healing, and self-expression.In this hands-on workshop, Brazilian artist Ada Rovai will guide you in creating your own Self-Doll, a handmade fabric doll that reflects your story, emotions, and inner self. You’ll explore personal narratives through craft and mindful making.
Blending craft, meditation, and conversation, the experience offers a safe and inclusive space for all.
