Assessment Tools in Counselling Practice
Discover practical and relevant assessment tools that can deepen your understanding of your counselling clients and strengthen your interventions. This workshop will explore what tools are most useful, when they are appropriate, and how to integrate them confidently into your practice.
Suzanne Bocking Bio:
I’m a professional supervisor, educator and counsellor who is passionate about helping people experience positive change and live their best life now.
My personal mission statement is to simply serve as many people as possible- to bring life to others and reduce suffering wherever possible.
My experience spans nearly 20 years in counselling across private practice, schools, faith-based organisations, Indigenous communities, NDIS, and mental health. Before that, I worked for over 10 years in corporate HR, training, and change management, including founding a women’s empowerment business in Singapore.
I have been a supervisor for over 5 years. I am deeply passionate about supervision because I believe it is one of the most powerful ways to support, strengthen, and sustain counsellors, ministry workers and front line employees in their special work. I'm especially passionate about supervision on supervision; as its impact is far reaching!
