Bookings for adults must be made by the person themselves. It is imperative that the data collected is accurate. Bookings for children can be made by their parent/guardian.
While making your booking, you will need to accept the following:

Code of Conduct

Safety Guidelines, Activity Plans & Risk Assessments

You will be required to walk from the carpark, carrying all of your gear

That you will bring a PIR print out

Arrival & Departure time and agree to communicate this via the carpool spreadsheet
All participants will need to provide a current health statement at the start of the Working Bee, via a completed Personal Information Record downloaded from Scouts Victoria (https://scoutsvictoria.com.au/media/1680/personal-information-record.pdf). This will then be stored in the Dino Box for the duration of the working bee.
Privacy Notice:
You agreed to us collecting personal and sensitive data for the purposes disclosed in the Scouts Victoria Privacy Policy. In the case of a youth member, you acknowledge a similar understanding and agreement in your capacity as the Parent or Guardian of that member. Individuals have the right to access any personal information which Scouts Victoria holds about them and advise Scouts Victoria of any perceived inaccuracy. Any enquiries, complaints and requests for access can be made to the address listed in the Privacy Policy.
I acknowledge that I have read this Privacy Notice and I hereby reaffirm my understanding of the Branch Privacy Policy and my continuing agreement to the collection of personal and sensitive data for the purposes disclosed in that Policy.
Digital Media:
Please note any photos taken at Chalet events may be shared publicly or used for promotional material. If, for any reason, you do not wish to give consent to your child’s or your own image being used on social media or in promotional material please ensure you identify this on your form.
Insurance note:
The Chalet only provides minimal personal property insurance. Participants to Working Bees should ensure that they have the appropriate level of insurance for their personal property through their House and Contents Insurance, or Travel Insurance.
The Chalet recommends that all attendees hold a current ambulance service membership. Private health insurance does not always cover the full cost of ambulance transport.
Falls Creek Medical Centre is a private health care provider. Out of pocket expenses may apply if you are treated at Falls Creek even in a medical emergency.
Waiting Lists:
If needed, a waiting list will become available for working bees. Participants on the waiting list will be contacted in order of application when spaces become available. To join the waiting list, send an email to bookings@bogongroverchalet.org.au.
Damage:
You may be liable for the cost of damage incurred to chalet equipment/property if you fail to disclose relevant information to the Wardens, Maintenance, or Bookings Office; or were negligent; or willfully caused damage.
Refund Terms & Conditions:
In the event of failure to attend your Working Bee, there is no refund.
Withdrawals received prior to the cut off date communicated, a full refund will be processed prior to the event.
By attending the working bee, you’ll receive a full refund, after the event.
The BCMG reserves the right to determine refunds on a case by case basis.
