Experience of Real Taste of JAPAN - Special KIOKE Lunch

About
About the “Kioke” Lunch Event – Where Japan’s Flavors Are BornThis is more than just a lunch event — it’s a journey into the heart of Japan’s culinary heritage.
Kioke are traditional wooden barrels used since the Edo period to brew sake, soy sauce, miso, and other fermented foods. Each barrel is alive, cared for by generations of artisans who have preserved this craft. The deep, rich flavors created through these barrels embody the spirit of Japanese culture itself.
We welcome Mr. Tadayuki Iwasaki, a true ambassador of Japanese cuisine and a leading buyer from Shinanoya Supermarket, a company with nearly 100 years of history supporting Japan’s dining traditions.
Through his stories and the tasting experience, you’ll discover how Kioke connects flavor, tradition, and craftsmanship — preserving a living part of Japan’s cultural heritage.
