Perth Scottish Fiddlers presents a concert of Scottish music inspired by the sea, withmusic from Scotland, The Shetland Islands, Scandinavia and America.
The concert will be followed by afternoon tea and a session - so bring your
instruments if you would like to join in!
Perth Scottish Fiddlers is a group of musicians who come together to play the rich
and extensive violin and dance repertoire of Scotland, both traditional and
contemporary. They play a range of music, from beautiful airs and elegant
strathspeys to fast and furious reels and jigs. The group’s original tunes and
arrangements add an Australian flavour. The group is directed by musician and
music teacher Margaret Schlink.
