The Hellenic Australian Lawyers Association (Western Australia) is proud to present the 2025 French AO QC Oration – The Robert French AC Oration, held in collaboration with the Western Australian Society of Jewish Jurists and Lawyers and the Asian Australian Lawyers Association (WA Chapter).

This year’s Oration will be delivered by The Honourable Justice Marcus Solomon of the Supreme Court of Western Australia.

Justice Solomon will speak on the topic:
“The Place of Values and Morals in a Judge’s Decision-Making”, addressing the role and impact of moral intuition in judicial reasoning and the delicate balance between legal principle and ethical judgment.

Following the Oration, canapés and drinks will be served in the foyer.

All members and guests are warmly invited to attend this distinguished annual event honouring the legacy of The Hon. Robert French AC, former Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia.

There are limited spaces for this event so register early.

Hellenic Australian Lawyers Association (HAL) members obtain the benefit of attending various members events at reduced or no cost.
