Telling Stories Group
About
Telling Stories is a group for children and parents to attend together and is designed to help parents and carers of children aged 4 to 8 years who can talk in sentences but have difficulty in being able to tell “stories” (oral narrative) including things like what they did at school, what happened when they were playing or in re-telling stories.The group includes four online sessions delivered via MS Teams. Each session runs for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and includes home practice activities.
IMPORTANT: This service is intended for people who live in country WA (outside the metropolitan areas). If you proceed with this registration, you will be asked to provide personal information. This information will be used by WA Country Health Service and TryBooking, an external online booking system, for booking purposes only. ELIGIBILITY: Registration in this program is limited to families who have been referred by their Child Development Service (CDS) clinician. If you have not seen a CDS clinician, please do not continue with your booking. Contact the event organiser and / or your local CDS service for further support. WA Country Health Service reserves the right to cancel or alter bookings if required.
