The Hon Paul Tottle served as a Judge of the Supreme Court of Western Australia from 2015 until his retirement in September 2025.
Both prior to, and during his decade-long service as a judge of the Court, Justice Tottle delivered the administration of justice in this State with great distinction.

The Hon Paul Tottle presided over many of the most difficult and long running civil trials brought before the Court over his time. He was well known for his calm and considered judicial temperament, ensuring that all those appearing in his court, whether as parties, counsel, or witnesses were always treated with the utmost civility and respect

In this session, free from the constraints of judicial office, the Hon Paul Tottle will share his reflections on his time, including managing large and complex litigation and the challenges facing the judiciary in our contemporary world. He will provide remarks and will take questions from attendees.

Stephen Penrose, Partner of Thomson Geer and former partner of Justice Tottle, will host this event.

At the conclusion of the event, collegiality will continue over drinks.

Attendees will be able to claim one CPD point.
