25 YEARS ON // STILL DIRTYCelebrating 25 years of Dirty Jeans.
We’re hitting the road to celebrate 25 years since Dirty Jeans came into our lives -
handclaps, hooks and all! From a scrappy cassette recording in a Melbourne share
house, the song evolved into our first ever charting single and a career-defining
anthem.
Originally scribbled down and recorded by Adalita in 1999, then transformed with
Greg Wales into the pop-grunge classic you know today, Dirty Jeans was released in
July 2000 on our third album What Are Rock Stars Doing Today.
Now, a quarter of a century later, we’re taking it back to where it all began with a run
of exclusive shows across Victoria, South Australia and NSW with plenty of
awesome special guests to help us celebrate. Expect the faves, maybe a deep cut or
two, and some brand new songs we wanna road-test on you before we head into the
studio again.
We’ll be sweaty, loud and a little nostalgic!
