Baroque Masters
WHAT: Our 2026 series of concerts in the secluded bush setting of Broadford Salon's little concert hall feature a variety of music with a few new performers. We welcome for the first time Lizzy Welsh a baroque violinist and Kate Macfarlane who specialises in the baroque style as well as Meredith Beardmore returning to perform on her wooden flute once again. Masters included are from the Italian and English late 17th century, the Berlin mid 18th century as well as a programme featuring the French Elisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre. Further composers included are Graun, C.P.E. Bach, Purcell, Blow, Eccles and Janitsch. Thus, lovers of fine baroque music will be treated to well known composers and hidden gems from the lesser known masters that deserve to brought to our attention.
