Trish Hodge has spent 20 years researching and documenting the traditional uses of over 350 native Tasmanian plants - for food, medicine, tools and seasonal knowledge. Interwoven with historical observations and the status of vulnerable species, this book is a tribute to Aboriginal ecological wisdom and the enduring connection to Country.
Trish Hodge is a proud descendant of Manalakina, Chief of the Truwulway people of Northeast Tasmania, his daughter, Watamutiya, and her daughter Dolly Dalrymple.
All are welcome. Ticket provides general admission to the talk.
