You are warmly invited to the Great Synagogue in Sydney that will feature a farewell message from the outgoing Israeli Ambassador to Australia, Amir Maimon.The evening is a celebration of Chanukah, the Jewish Festival of Light where we can reflect on the enduring Judeo-Christian values that our nations share.
There will also be greetings from Rabbi Elton & Rabbi Riesenberg. Pete Stucken & Rev Paul Jung will also share with the audience.
PLUS, as a treat, enjoy the beautiful voice of Chazzan Rabbi Menachem Feldman, who'll lead us in song & prayer for a Communal Lighting of the Chanukiah.
Delicious Chanukah doughnuts and refreshments will follow the formalities.
