Presented by Pieter de Vries (Australia)In Creatures and Concertos, Pieter shares his techniques for capturing extraordinary images for David Attenborough and National Geographic. His talk also features an exquisite performance of Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, "Spring". In this segment of his documentary, "Four", he captures the essence of Japan's Cherry Blossom love story, offering a visually stunning musical experience.
Pieter de Vries is one of the leading documentary cinematographers. Based in Australia, he spends much of his time traveling, working on documentary programs for the BBC, NBC and ABC, the National Geographic, Discovery, and History channels in the US, as well as ZDF Germany, Canal Plus France, NHK Japan, and others. His films have won numerous awards.
Note: Part of the festival event will be in conjunction with Coffs Harbour Music Society and the City of Coffs Harbour.
