Cheesemaking workshop - Asiago and Feta
About
This cheesemaking workshop/experience is a little different to a regular workshop, because we will be exploring the full process of cheesemaking, from literal paddock, to plate! Starting off with a milking demonstration and lesson with Holly and her dairy goats, you will be able to fully engage with knowing where your food comes from as we will turn some beautiful milk into some wonderful cheeses! In this full day workshop, local home cheesemaking expert Mark Sorrell is teaming up with Holly Hale from Holly's Backyard Bees to take you through the process for making two delicious cheeses - Asiago (semi-firm, crumbly cheese) and Feta, which will become part of the delicious lunch we will enjoy on the day. We will be using cows milk for both cheeses on the day. Both Holly and Mark are keen home food producers, and this will be an opportunity to indulge in their local and homemade produce as we share a lunch on the day. We are excited to have you join us!
