Freemasons Burns Supper 26 (CANCELLED)
About
A Grand Celebration of Scottish Heritage, Fellowship, and Charity — with a Touch of OperaHosted by Freemasons Victoria – Western District 117, this year’s Burns Supper offers something truly special — a refined blend of traditional Scottish ceremony and live opera performance.
Join brethren, scouts, families, and friends for an evening of music, poetry, fine food, and fellowship, honouring Robert Burns, Scotland’s beloved bard.
For over two centuries, Burns Suppers have united Scots around the world in celebrating his life and works through poetry, song, toasts, and dance. Our 2026 programme stays true to these traditions — from the piping of the haggis and Auld Lang Syne to the laughter and camaraderie of the ceilidh floor — while introducing a new artistic twist with operatic performances throughout the evening.
All proceeds proudly support Melbourne City Mission and Scouts Victoria (15th Essendon Sea Scouts) — making this night not just one of culture, but of community and compassion.

ORGANISERS MESSAGE
“The Burns Supper is more than a meal—it’s a movement of goodwill.
When I first organised it in Prague, it was a simple idea: celebrate heritage while helping others.
The community response was overwhelming. I’m honoured to bring that same magic to Melbourne,
with the support of the Freemasons, Scouts, and everyone who believes in giving back.”
— W.Bro Braithwaite - Werribee Enterprise Lodge No:187
