Katia Mestrovic|Carol of the Bells: A Christmas Harp Concert
Katia Mestrovic, harp
Katia is an eclectic modern-classical harpist-composer. Her goal in performing and composing is to show audiences the versatility of the harp - its capacity for resonance, moods and colours, and its myriad extended techniques. She is dedicated to the acoustic pedal harp, because she enjoys the direct and nuanced relationship between technique and sound. She is currently based in Melbourne (Australia), and performs regularly as a soloist and ensemble player.
Katia performs a program of original music and arrangements of folk songs and Christmas songs. This collection of music is both enchanting and heartwarming, and highlights the expressive, brilliant and ethereal quality of the harp.
We hope to spark your Christmas Spirit!
