We invite you to join us for our Term 4 Parent Engagement Gathering: 'Nutrition for Teens: Fuelling the Brain and Body'.
Parents and students are invited to join us for a fun and informative evening designed to bring families together while exploring the importance of good nutrition in supporting teenage growth, learning and performance - both in and out of the classroom.
🔍 6:30PM – 7pm | Scavenger Hunt
Parents and students will team up to solve clues and complete a scavenger hunt around the College with prizes up for grabs.
🥤 7pm – 7:15pm | Light Refreshments
🍎 7:15pm – 8pm | Workshop: Nutrition for Teens: FUELLING THE BRAIN AND BODY
Led by Ashleigh Walter, Accredited Practising Dietitian and Sports Nutrition Specialist, this interactive session will explore how good nutrition supports learning, energy and overall wellbeing during the teen years. Discover practical tips for balanced meals, smart snacking and fuelling for sport and study. This workshop is presented in collaboration with Dietetics at the Centre of Excellence, whose team of accredited dietitians work with athletes across NSW to optimise performance and health through smart nutrition strategies.
