HEIMELAGA, A Norwegian Supper Club in Naarm (Melbourne) returns for Julebord, A Norwegian Christmas. We would love to welcome you to experience Julebord - a traditional Norwegian Christmas meal in our private dining apartment. This is truly going to be a memorable evening filled with traditional culinary storytelling & heartwarming Norwegian Christmas food! Two nights only, Thursday 27th November & Friday 28th November. At the heart of HEIMELAGA is a Norwegian & a Melbournite. HEIMELAGA seeks to recreate the cosiness of a traditional Norwegian meal shared with friends & family. Translating to home-made, the Norwegian word "HEIMELAGA" encapsulates the warmth & authenticity of something lovingly crafted at home. The essence of home-made embodies tradition, bespoke craftsmanship, purity & individuality." Every HEIMELAGA Dining Experience starts with the Norsk Board which is a selection of traditional Norwegian HEIMELAGA baked crispbreads & toppings, The Norsk Board epitomises tradition, ingenuity, heartiness & longevity. Its significance lies in its role as a staple, forming the foundation of many Norwegian meals, often enjoyed with butter, cheese, or traditional toppings such as brunost (brown cheese). For the festive season, the Norsk Board has morphed into the Jule Board with crispbreads featuring traditional Norwegian Christmas toppings and flavours, offering a culinary window into the warm, nostalgic tastes of a Nordic Christmas.

Julegrøt - Norwegian Christmas rice porridge w/ cinnamon, sugar sprinkle, butter float
Brennsnut - Traditional Norwegian root vegetable hug in a bowl, clear vegetable broth, w/ Norwegian crisp lamb ham/ fenalår ribbon garnish. *Fenalår swapped out with crispy mushroom ribbons for vegetarian option

Juleribbe - Traditional Christmas 8-hour slow roast pork belly, steamed fluffy potatoes, carrots, mushy peas w/ ribbe sauce jus
Juleribbe med tofu/soy V - Oven baked marinated tofu, steamed fluffy potatoes, carrots, mushy peas w/ mushroom jus

Riskrem med rød saus - Christmas rice porridge w/ whipped cream, strawberry red sauce drizzle (V)
