About
Come join us for a fun and interactive music and song-writing workshop, designed for tween/teenagers aged 12-15+ years old. Our sessions are built to encourage active participation and provide a fun, educational experience for all.From learning basic rhythms and playing simple instruments (including guitars, ukuleles, piano, and more!) to writing their very own song as a group, this workshop will aim to meet everyone where they're at - whether that is being very familiar with musical instruments or only just picking one up for the first time!
This workshop has a limit of 12 participants, ensuring that everyone will get an opportunity to play an instrument of their choice and engage with the group in their own unique way.
Our experienced instructor for these sessions is local talent Damon Sparkes. From performing as a solo act and in local bands for the past 10 years in the Adelaide music scene and interstate, to recording, producing, and mixing his music from the comfort of his own home, Damon is well versed in all things music in Adelaide. Questions about music, songwriting, and the music scene in general are welcome and encouraged!
Please consider arriving at 12:55pm for a prompt 1:00pm start! The session runs for approximately one hour from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
Parents are not required to stay for this event, but are more than welcome to do so if they like! Please keep in mind that all parties will be off of the premises by 2:15pm at the latest, so if you choose to drop-and-go, please ensure you arrive by 2:00pm for collection.
