As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting each student’s learning progress, Montmorency Secondary College conducts Progressive Achievement Tests (PAT). These assessments help teachers identify students’ current levels of understanding, track their growth over time, and tailor classroom instruction to meet individual learning needs. PAT testing provides valuable diagnostic information that helps us ensure every student is appropriately challenged and supported in their learning journey.
Grade 6 (Year 7 2026) students will undertake English and Mathematics testing during the week of Monday 24th November – Thursday 27th November. All testing will occur within classrooms R13 and R14 which are located adjacent to the Dobsons Road car park (map attached), with all testing being supervised by teachers. There are a number of sessions available and these can be booked online using trybooking. These sessions will run for approx.. 1.5 hours in which students will undertake both Maths and English testing.
For those families who book a timeslot on Thursday 24th November, please be advised that Year 7 Transition Meetings are also running on this day. Please login to Compass to coordinate the booking of your Transition Meeting with the PAT testing session.
