Fermenting - Feasting - Farming - Fasting
A holistic approach to sustainable living, fueled by a need to overcome autoimmune illness.
This workshop will share the journey from the debilitating effects of severe autoimmune disease to a lifestyle based on growing your own produce, whole food eating, preserving produce and of course fermenting. The role of fasting on this journey will be openly discussed. This interactive workshop will demonstrate how fermented drinks of all types are made, and participants can taste the raw probiotic liquids before they are flavored for bottling. Learn the differences between some of the most common types of fermented products and understand why each person may need a different probiotic for optimal health.
Ticket price includes a kombucha start pack to take home and a taste of our medal winning products, including gold medal cultured drinks and vinegars.
A unique opportunity to observe and discuss the various aspects of fermenting with Dr Newcombe. Group sizes are currently limited to 12, book early to avoid disappointment.
Participants will have access to purchase water kefir start kits and cider vinegar scoby's.
Kitchen garden walks are available (weather permitting).
Please note that this is a child-free event and that the venue currently does not have disabled access.
Can't make the scheduled times? Why not get some friends together and have an exclusive private lesson!
If you have a group booking of 6 -8 people you can organise a dedicated workshop at a time that suits your travel plans.
