Join the Run for Palestine, Canberra 2025
Take part in a relaxed family-oriented, community fun run to show solidarity and raise support vital medical aid for Palestinian families. Whether you run, jog, or stroll, your participation helps deliver essential care and relief through PANZMA (Palestinian Australian New Zealand Medical Association).
After years of hardship and continued immense suffering in Gaza and the West Bank, and hundreds of thousands of deaths and injuries, every step counts towards helping families rebuild their lives and ensure access to medical care. Your effort — every kilometre — makes a real difference.
🏃♀️ Event details:
• 5 km course: Lennox Gardens → south side of Lake Burley Griffin → Kings Avenue Bridge → north side of Lake Burley Griffin → Commonwealth Avenue Bridge → back to Lennox Gardens
• 10 km course: Two laps of the 5 km route
• Start/finish: North end of Lennox Gardens, behind the Albert Hall
🕑 Event Schedule
• 09:30 AM – Registration, Bag Drop and T-shirt sales opens
• 10:00 AM – 2 Laps Run/Walk START
• 10:10 AM – 1 Lap Run/Walk START
• 11:45 AM – Awards Ceremony & Community picnic.
🎟️ Tickets:
• Adult: $20
• Family: $40
• Concession: $10
• Children under 12: Free
* Donations can also be made on the ticket page (people not attending can make donations there as well. Just choose '1' in the donations line and put the amount in below).
Proudly wear your Run for Palestine T-shirt or simply come as you are – everyone’s welcome. T-shirts can be purchased on the day, but are not mandatory.
