2026 Prep Family Picnic

All 2026 Prep families are invited to our Prep Family Picnic on Friday, 6 February — a wonderful way to begin your Flinders journey.Held in the Prep playground immediately after school until 4:30 pm, this relaxed afternoon is a chance for families to meet, chat, and form those first Flinders friendships that can last years.
Children are welcome to enjoy the playground during the picnic while parents connect with others and begin to build a support network between new and current families. These early moments of connection help children feel at home in their new environment and develop social confidence in the comfort of their parents’ presence.
Bring along a picnic rug or chairs and your favourite afternoon treats, or enjoy the sausage sizzle provided for families who RSVP their attendance. We’ll have sausages in bread, Zooper Doopers, poppers, and cold non-alcoholic drinks available.
