Isaac Armitage Lecture 2026
The 2026 Armitage Lecture will be delivered by Dr Christine Grice, Postgraduate Program Coordinator at Sydney School of Education and Social Work, The University of Sydney. Christine is a scholar, author, and philosopher, whose research has shaped national policy.
With a career in education in Australia and the UK that has included P-12 roles as Head of School, Deputy Head, and Director of Curriculum, Dr Grice brings a rich and practical understanding of educational leadership and faith.
Her talk, titled “What Do We Have Faith In, Education?” (sic), draws on her latest book, Practices of Leading Pedagogy, and follows three decades of teaching, research, leadership, and governance in education. She is known for her thoughtful contributions to how we lead, learn and care in education.
