Full Day training aimed at Secondary school staff members.LIMIT OF 2 STAFF PER SCHOOL
Monash University will present "Tackling the manosphere in secondary schools". Interactive, participatory learning which aims to support participants with the knowledge and skills in relation to:
• the manosphere, including key beliefs and links to violence, recruitment pathways and the role of social media
• whole-school approaches to addressing the manosphere
• principles for responding in classrooms
• classroom learning activities
As well as:
• ongoing access to online modules and resources to support learning
The RR team will also engage schools to consider how this work will:
• become actionable in their context
• engage staff, students and the wider school community
• link further with the whole school approach to RR
• further be supported in their CoP and/or by the RR team throughout 2026
Important details:
- Morning tea and lunch will be provided
- A reminder that you can use the Mental Health Fund or your SRP funding to pay for CRT coverage
- Maximum of 2 staff per school
