Supporting Women at Work - FREE online information session
About
This free online workshop is designed for professionals working in family violence, health, education, and community sectors who may support women or clients experiencing workplace issues.In this session, participants will:
• Learn about the Working Women’s Centre and the free legal and advocacy services available for women and gender-diverse workers.
• Develop skills in identifying (issue spotting) common workplace problems, such as underpayment, unfair treatment, discrimination, and sexual harassment.
• Understand how to respond safely and make effective referrals to specialist support services.
• Gain confidence in supporting clients to recognise when something isn’t right at work.
Who should attend:
Family violence practitioners, caseworkers, counsellors, youth workers, employment support staff, and anyone working with clients who may be experiencing workplace issues.

This information session is being provided as part of the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence events offered by Greater Shepparton City Council and Goulburn Integrated Family Violence Services Executive. It can be offered free to the community
