Join the Victoria Welsh Choir as we proudly present our St David’s Day 2026 concert:Songs for Wales, Songs for All – a powerful musical journey celebrating heritage, harmony and humanity.
With over 40 voices and a live instrumental ensemble, the choir will perform a stirring selection of traditional Welsh hymns and folk songs in the first half, followed by opera highlights, musical theatre classics and contemporary favourites in the second.
From Cwm Rhondda and Sosban Fach to Nessun Dorma, Stars, Anthem and more, this concert promises a rich tapestry of sound that moves from the valleys of Wales to stages around the world.
Victoria Welsh Choir is one of Australia’s leading male voice choirs, known for its warm, expressive sound and dynamic performances. With deep roots in the Welsh choral tradition, the choir is committed to preserving the spirit of male voice singing while embracing new musical horizons.
Led by Rushan Hewawasam, the choir performs across Victoria and beyond, captivating audiences with repertoire that blends heart, history and harmony.
