We provide the boats and oars!Try out your new rowing handicap on the first Saturday of the new year whilst holidaying down on the Fleurieu! The 500m course will help dust off the excesses of Christmas and the New Year before returning to the rigours of the RSA championship season &/or your regular club rowing where you MUST be registered to enter this event.
The racing will be early to take advantage of the beautiful Goolwa morning “sans” powered craft with an athlete’s briefing from the rotunda adjacent Islander’s Tavern at 6am. Racing will be followed by brunch’n’beers at Coorong Quays for those who are interested.
Fill in the details on the booking form, bring your club singlet/zootie plus your sense of humour and we’ll find a boat, a crew, work out your handicap and what events to compete in.
Are you an experienced coxswain? Coxing only (no rowing) is free … $0…Zilch!
For those who came to the 2025 picnic regatta the format will be much the same. It is intended to be a bit of holiday fun. You’ll probably get 2 or 3 races. Contact organisers with queries
