Inspired by her new graphic novel The Thylacine and the Time Machine, this hands-on workshop invites children aged +10 years and their families to explore the fascinating world of extinct animals—especially Australia’s legendary Tasmanian tiger.
In this playful and imaginative session, Renée will guide participants through how to draw extinct animals such as the Tasmanian Tiger and create time-traveling comic adventures that blend science, history, and humour. No drawing experience needed—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Perfect for budding artists, animal lovers, and curious minds aged +10 years, this workshop is a wild ride through art, storytelling, and the mysteries of the natural world.
*Renée Tremel will be available to sign copies of his books at the Dymocks pop-up stand at the Hall of Stars (Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre - Agricultural Hall) from 2:00pm - 2:30pm.
Tickets are $10 per person (ages 10 years and up, including adults), or admission is included with the $20 Children’s Day – Day Pass.
