AMAS 2026 - MEX1 Beamline
About
This workshops are targeted at microbeam analysis practitioners working in commercial and academic laboratories who are interested in gaining a detailed understanding of the technical aspects of a synchrotron scanning microprobe. The workshops will give insights into the problems that can be solved with these beamline instruments, and participants will get to take part in setting up the instruments and collecting and analysing data. The session offer opportunity to learn about how sample qualities influence data quality and to discuss microanalytical problems with beamline staff. These workshops are less well suited to students or early career researchers. If this is you, then we encourage you to attend the Monday introductory synchrotron all-day workshop, as well as other synchrotron and beamline workshops held by the Australian Synchrotron throughout the year.
