A whole-day workshop with one of Australia's leading experts in improvised musical theatre. The session will be a fun, hands-on workshop focused on making up songs in the moment, in the context of an improvised musical. Finding your chorus, creating meaningful lyrics on the spot, as well as weaving in character and narrative. The faciliator, Emmet Nichols, has almost two decades of experience making up songs and facilitating workshops, as the creator and director of Impromptunes - The Completely Improvised Musical and troupe member of The Big Hoo Haa! He is also a professional educator, maintaining an emphasis quality feedback as part of his practice.
