Padua College │ New Social Media Restrictions Information
Join us for an important community conversation about upcoming changes to social media laws that will affect young Australians which will be implemented from 10 December 2025.
To help families support young people through the new legislation and transition, this session will cover:

- How platforms will enforce age restrictions and what safeguards are in place;
- The role of the eSafety Commissioner in guiding and monitoring compliance;
- Insights from a local advocate who has actively supported the reform;
- Practical advice for parents navigating this change with their children.
We will hear from a representative from the eSafety Commissioner, as well as Wayne Holdsworth from Smack Talk, a local advocate who has championed this reform.
