At OTFC, we are proud to offer “A Pathway to Clinical Excellence”, an intensive, interactive, and dynamic introduction to Ayres Sensory Integration®. Designed for new graduates and occupational therapists new to ASI®, this program builds the foundations for evidence-informed, exceptional clinical practice — guiding therapists to become extraordinary in their craft.Duration: 5 days, delivered across the first quarter of the year
Part 1: Understanding the Science and Theory of ASI®
A valuable foundation in the theory and neuroscience of ASI®, supporting progression toward the CLASI Certificate in ASI® – Modules 1 & 2.
Part 2: Understanding Evaluation in ASI®
Exploring the Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI) and the Sensory Processing Measure (SPM) — learning what we assess and why, and how to interpret results and graphs to plan effective, goal-directed interventions. Prepares participants for CLASI Certificate in ASI® – Modules 3 & 4.
Part 3: Delivering ASI® with Fidelity
Discover why a scooter board can be a vehicle for life-changing therapy, and learn to scaffold and grade activities in real time. Nowhere else in the world do therapists have the opportunity to learn and practice within facilities like ours — so let’s use them. This module prepares participants for CLASI Certificate in ASI® – Modules 5 & 6.
