Planning and commissioning evaluations (SOLD OUT)
About
This training course is targeted at Australian Government policy and program officers who want to understand how to plan for, and commission an evaluation. This includes scoping and addressing design constraints, developing program logics and evaluation questions, and being an informed customer when approaching the market. It also covers key questions to consider when planning an impact evaluation.
Course pre-requisite learning is the Introduction to Evaluation in the Commonwealth Government course available on APSLearn for an introduction to the terms and concepts we will be discussing in the course.
The course is free and will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams on 4 December 9:30am-12:30pm for up to 60 attendees. The training course will be delivered by Ruth Nicholls, Shantanu Sheshgir, Hannah Denson and Patrick Rehill from the Australian Centre for Evaluation.
