Year 8 NAPLAN Parent Information Session
We invite you to our Year 8 NAPLAN Information Evening, which will focus on Year 9 NAPLAN and its importance for your child’s education.
We’ll explain how Year 9 NAPLAN results relate to the minimum literacy and numeracy standards required for the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). Students who don’t meet these benchmarks will need to pass the Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA) in Years 10–12 to qualify for WACE.
The session will cover the structure of Year 9 NAPLAN, how results affect WACE eligibility, and provide guidance on ways families can support their child's preparation.
