Welcome to the Glen Iris Primary School Chess Club, where young minds enjoy the challenge of strategy, focus, and fun! We invite all students from Prep to Year 6 to join us in a supportive and engaging environment as we explore the world of chess.Who Can Join
Open to all students from Prep to Year 6, regardless of experience.
Beginners will learn the basics: rules, piece movement, and simple opening and endgame ideas.
Experienced players can refine strategies, practice tactics, and participate in friendly tournaments.
Schedule
When: Weekly, Thursday 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM
Dates: 29 Jan – 26 Mar (9 lessons)
Cost: $20 per lesson, or $162 for the full term (full term is discounted at 10%).
