The Melbourne CI community is pleased to host our final Underscore of the year.Underscore is an explorative container which allows CI practioners to deepen their research of this unique form. It is suited for people who are familiar with Contact Improvisation and have attended regular classes.
Please prepare to arrive punctually at 1:30pm - to maintain a focused container, we will lock the doors after 1:45pm sharp.
Post Underscore, we will celebrate with a BYO picnic on the lawn outside of the venue. Feel free to bring some food and drinks to share.
Created by Nancy Stark Smith, it is a long form dance improvisation structure, composed of key elements of the dance form, Contact Improvisation (CI).
As it is a contained practice, attendees must arrive promptly at the start time and stay for the entire duration of the session.
