Join the ACA and Arch_Manu for a CPD webinar on Thursday 27 November for Part 2 of AI in Practice. This time, Arch_Manu director Prof M. Hank Haeusler focuses squarely on implications and learnings for architects. Book now to join live or view the recording afterwards.
The rapid rise of Generative AI is reshaping the way we work, challenging traditional workflows and redefining the skills architects need to thrive. In this talk, Hank will explore how AI is transforming the architecture profession from design ideation and documentation, to education and early-career pathways.
Drawing on recent international research and Australia’s national GenAI strategy, this session unpacks the emerging division between human judgment and AI execution, highlighting where architects can lead rather than follow. The talk will explore key implications for practice, education and workforce development, and outline practical strategies for firms to adapt confidently and creatively.
