Introduction to Gemmology for Kids Course (ages 9-16).3-Hour Course, Sydney NSW
Gemstones, Minerals and Rocks for Young, Curious Minds.
Join this fun and interactive 3-hour course introducing kids and young people to the wonders of gemmology.
We will explore the world of rocks, minerals and gemstones, and uncover their hidden properties through hands-on activities.
Together, we will discover:
– some specimens that glow in the dark
– some stones that are attracted to magnets
– some gems that display fascinating special effects or intricate patterns
If your children are interested in minerals and gemstones, this introductory course is a great place to begin a wonderful journey into the magnificent world of gems and gemmology.
– This course is designed for children aged 9–16.
– Parents are welcome to stay during the course.
– Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
– Lounge viewing area with tea and coffee is available for parents and guardians.
– Classes will proceed subject to a minimum of six (6) students.
