Sacrament of First Holy Eucharist 2026

Eligibility: Candidates must be Baptised, have celebrated the Sacraments of Confirmation and Reconciliation and be in at least Year 4 at school. In our Diocese of Broken Bay, the Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated before Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

First Communion

Eligibility: Candidates must be in at least Year 4. The Sacrament of First Reconciliation (also known as Confession or Penance) is celebrated before the Sacrament of First Eucharist.

Parents and Carers - Welcome and Information Evening

Tuesday 28th April, 7-8pm in the Veritas Hall at Prouille School,  5 Water Street, Wahroonga. This is an information evening for parents/carers, which includes refreshments.

Attendance is compulsory by one parent/carer on 28th April.

Group Leader Training:  Tuesday 5th May, 7.00pm, Sunroom at the Church (Leaders only)

Sacramental Preparation Groups:  meet at the Prouille School Hall each week at 3.35pm, 10 minutes prior to the class. 

These compulsory classes are held at Prouille School, 5 Water St, Wahroonga, on:

• Lesson 1: Saturday,   9th May at 3.45pm,
• Lesson 2: Saturday,   16th May at 3.45pm,
• Lesson 3: Saturday,    23rd May at 3.45pm,
• Lesson 4: Saturday,   30th May at 3.45pm,

with each lesson followed by 5.00pm Mass at Church. Mass must be attended each week of the Program as the children are involved in the Mass and we have a community sausage sizzle after Mass.

Practice: Wednesday 10th June at 6.00pm at the Church 

Celebration of the Sacrament of First Eucharist at Church:

Sunday 14th June at a special 11.00am Mass
