Parents often seek help to change a child's behaviour, yet lasting change rarely begins with behaviour itself - it begins within the quality of the relationships that surround the child.
Drawing on neuroscience, attachment theory, emotional intelligence and practical relationship skills, this keynote explores how the emotional health of adult relationships profoundly shapes children's brain development, emotional regulation and lifelong wellbeing.
Participants will discover why connection is the foundation of influence, how co-regulation changes the developing brain, and practical strategies they can immediately apply in their work with couples, parents and families. This engaging and interactive presentation bridges the worlds of counselling, relationship education and parent coaching, equipping professionals with a relational framework that strengthens both adult and child outcomes.
Delicia is the founder of Go Beyond Parenthood and a Parent-Child Relationship Specialist, relationship educator, speaker and facilitator with more than two decades of experience helping families build emotionally healthy, deeply connected relationships.
Combining neuroscience, attachment theory, emotional intelligence and practical relationship skills, Delicia equips parents, couples and professionals with evidence-informed tools that create lasting change from the inside out. Her work focuses on strengthening the relationships that shape children's emotional development, recognising that children's well-being is inseparable from the health of the adults who raise them.
Delicia is also a Sydney Partner of The Relationship CODE, an immersive relationship education program that has helped couples reconnect, repair and build resilient partnerships. She is passionate about empowering professionals with practical frameworks that transform how families experience connection, conflict and growth.
