The 2026 Vaccination Social Science Symposium is hosted by UWA’s VaxPolLab, in partnership with the Wesfarmers Centre of Vaccines and Infectious Diseases, and is supported by UWA's School of Social Sciences.The Vaccination Social Science Symposium is a free event designed as a forum for researchers and practitioners across WA interested in the application of social science methods to vaccination research, policy, and practice. This year’s symposium will feature a dedicated focus on the Effectiveness and Consequences of Australia’s COVID‑19 Vaccine Mandates (MandEval), showcasing current findings and ongoing work from the project.
The day will include presentations, panel discussion, and opportunities for networking over morning tea, lunch, and (optional) post‑event social drinks.
