The suturing course covers the theoretical & practical essentials required to close & manage non-complex traumatic lacerations, punch biopsies, & surgical excisions. The emphasis is on the fundamentals of gaining closure, eliminating dead space & scar minimisation working within your technical ability, scope of practice & workplace policy & procedure to provide high level patient care.This course is a combination of online learning & a full practical day which covers the following: Using instruments, Local anaesthetics, Knot tying, Closure techniques (suturing, staples, glue & wound closure strips), Wound management & Follow-up care
