A day of professional development exploring art as a pathway for expression before, during and after spiritual direction sessions.One of the gifts of contemplation and spiritual direction is permission to not have words to describe or explain what is going on or who we are becoming. In this workshop Kathy Cave will help us explore some valuable non-verbal and creative tools for this journey. Over three sessions we will consider ways to prepare for a spiritual direction session, work with an art piece that a pilgrim / directee brings to a session and ways to facilitate / witness a creative process during a session.
