Experience an exclusive 90-minute staged reading featuring selected excerpts from 'Threads A New Australian Eco Musical', dramaturgical insights, and behind-the-scenes commentary from writer Jade Naidu. You’ll also meet members of the cast (and swings) who will be bringing this vibrant new work to life.Threads blends music, poetry, movement, and storytelling to follow Pip, a spirited young seedling, and her wonderfully eccentric family of trees and animals. Together, they connect through the mystical “Wood Wide Web” to protect their rainforest home from invasive threats - both botanical and human.
