I AM back to host with Oscar! Can’t wait to see you all!After a hugely successful first speed friending saw over 100 people and connections as well as 200 people at the 4th birthday party, Rainbow Social Melbourne continues to shine a light on connections, supporting queer venues and really intentional as a group!!
This time a new structure. Want to really make quick connection, know they are right for you and actually feel connected? Thought so!

Join our new structured event, speed friending, a way to connect with like minded people, quickly, whilst supported a queer venue!
Location: Pride of our Footscray -close to Footscray station of many buses to and from city
Hosted by: Rainbow Social Melbourne – a vibrant LGBTQIA+ community group that’s all about connection, inclusion, and fun
Welcoming hosts in rainbow shirts to help you mingle

How it works + looks - match you with people in your suburbs and hobbies/interests as these are important ways to connect.
6:00pm - Doors open
7:00pm - Round 1 (Suburbs)
7:20pm - Break/mix and mingle
7:30pm: Drag show - Max Drag queen (as seen on RU Paul down under)
7:40pm - Round 2 (Hobbies/interests #1)
8:00pm - Break/mix and mingle
8:10pm - Round 3 (Hobbies/interests #2)
8:30pm: Drag Show
10% off drinks as well!!!
10:00pm - Dj and Drag shows by venue
** By the end you'll feel deeply connected!
Not only are you meeting like minded people but you are also supporting a great queer owned venue in the West. Close to 150 people!
There is also a volunteers who will meet and greet you on the night to help you feel supported and engaged but is also up to YOU!!!
Note: You are also welcome to bring outside food into venue!! This is open to ALL genders. However, is NOT wheelchair accessible.
