International Human Rights Day commemorates the day in 1948 when the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), which outlines fundamental human rights that are to be universally protected. The day serves to promote awareness of human rights issues and encourages global action to uphold and protect these rights.
16 Days of Activism is a global movement against gender-based violence.

Goodie bags and great company will be provided!
All proceeds from ticketing will go to the NQWLS client advocate team who provide non-legal holistic support to NQWLS clients. Many of the women they support are dealing with complex challenges such as homelessness, domestic and family violence, and generational trauma. This money will go towards grocery and fuel vouchers so that when women come to NQWLS, the worry of not knowing where their next meal is coming from is not blocking them in accessing timely legal advice and support.
