The sidesword was the sword of the renaissance. It was an essential element of a gentleman's dress. It was light, portable, and optimised for both cutting and thrusting. It was used in self-defence, on the battlefield, and in the duel. It was used on its own, or accompanied with a parrying dagger, small shield, or another sword.
By the end of the course, you'll be all ready to fence using this unique and comprehensive method of Fencing.
