The Figgis Gallery proudly presents its inaugural exhibition, Geelong: Here and Now, a vibrant showcase of local artists capturing the spirit, stories, and evolving identity of our region.
Join us for three special exclusive events from Thursday, November 27th to Saturday, November 29th at The Geelong Club.
Event Schedule
Thursday, November 27th | 5:00 – 7:00 pm Exclusive Artists’ Reception. A private evening for exhibiting artists and their invited guests to celebrate the launch of the exhibition.
Friday, November 28th | 6:30 – 8:00 pm This event is exclusive to Geelong Club Members and friends who are invited to view the works and cast their vote for the Geelong Club Choice Award, honouring the artwork that resonates most with the Club community. An opportunity to meet the artists and the dynamic Art Curator Charlotte O’Donnell - the founder of the Figgis Gallery.
Saturday, November 29th. 6.30 to 9.30 pm. Open to the public. Celebrate the official opening of Geelong: Here and Now brought to you by Figgis Gallery at the iconic Geelong Club. This exciting exhibition brings together local artists and diverse creative voices, capturing the spirit, stories, and evolving identity of our region. Join us for a lively night of art, music, and community. Guests will enjoy live music, wine, and nibbles. The event will also feature the announcement of The Geelong Club Award, recognising the artwork that captured the hearts of The Geelong Club.
